Die Cutting

Engineering The Label

cgKocher & Black “Gapmaster” Die Cut Stations provide the accuracy to impose unique micro-perforation patterns and label shapes in a variety of materials.

Laser die – cutting – still in its infancy – provides a non-contact solution exploiting Digital Technology.

The ABG digilase has produced Catchpoint labels.

The “Engineering” of a Current Pressure Sensitive label is based on reliable die cutting. This allows the printer to strip matrix efficiently and the label application machine to apply the label off the liner without breaks. Filmic liners have reduced web breaks and with Gapmaster tolerances performance is impressive.

Catchpoint labels remove most matrix waste from the printer and exploit the same tolerances to ensure separation at the profile tools is as simple as at a break or peel plate.
